Would you consider it a beginner, medium or harder climb? I always struggle with it, especially getting all the way up to the top before heading down Jacobs ladder. Thoughts?

Driving to the top is easier! I have only ever climbed the first part of clark's, it wasn't too bad. People seem to think coming down clark's is a bad thing, is there a new downhill trail that you are supposed to take? It looked like maybe there was last time I was there.

Punch,
When you get to the top of Clark's, the hill right above the road has a single track up it, follow that up and go to the right when you get to the top of that lovely hill and the trail will keep going around and up to the very top where you start the down to ghost falls. I've done this about three times and is an amazing down, the climb ends up being close to five miles total. Hope this helps.

We will be doing this exact ride today if you want to try it. The climb is not bad overall. Clarks is 1.5 miles to the road. To jacobs is 2 miles from there and it has some pretty steep spots but also some long flat spots so it goes quick. I'd rate the whole climb intermediate overall.

I have done the ghost falls decent before. When I was up there on tuesday it looked like there was maybe a new downhill trail that came down from the same wooden fence that clark's intersects that road.

Yeah that is the new downhill only trail that connects up with ghost falls south I believe
