They are going to re-open the canyon overlook parking and said that the test closure is done. The next test is that they are going to have the parking lot open and restrict it to right turns only. I haven't heard dates or anything but it is supposed to start near the end of Sept. This doesn't mean that they have tossed out the closure option so it is still really important for everyone standing by to get up and spend the three minutes send in a letter!

Thanks for the reminder. I wrote the letter, but my printer went on the fritz... so I forgot about it.

I'll send my letter tomorrow.
