I was very happy with the Utes. To work in a new QB and have him do that well. They are looking good to me and I realize they were playing Logan High, but still. They did have some turnovers, which essentially gave USU 10 points. I thought the USU defense was pretty stout. They stopped the Utes on the 1 yard line 2 or 3 times and stuffed them back.
I think the speed of the Utah's receivers was ultimately what USU could not deal with. Utah used to be a RB school, but I think they have quickly become a receiver factory. Quick, nimble, crafty receivers. Of course Asiata is going to be a beast this year and will probably rush for 1200+ yards if he stays healthy. It is nice to see the bench finally full for the Utes for the last few seasons. They lost some major talent and they still have a handful of weapons. I am sure recruiting is a little easier after going undefeated and busting the BCS twice in 5 years. Looking forward to this year and I just got tickets on the 20, 14 rows up to watch them play the Ducks. :popcorn:
