Twolaw partners.... One partner goes into the other partner's office. The other partner knew something was up because he shut the door. The partner sits down with a solemn look on his face and said "We need to talk about Cindy", the firm's runner, who was also in college, "have you ever slept with her?"
The other partner sits back with a look of shock on his face. "Why, of course not."
The partner replies "Look, we've known each other since law school. If you've ever been honest with me, I need to to level with me on this."
The other partner response "I'm telling you, I've never had sex with her."
The partner slumps back in his chair with a relieved sigh.
"Great...then you can fire her."

The other partner sits back with a look of shock on his face. "Why, of course not."
