Has anyone else seen this? I have a good friend who is gonna ride in this event so I'm gonna head down the first weekend in October to watch. Looks like it's gonna be a good time. Has anyone else done this? Anyone else interested in going? I'd be nice to see some fellow Bogleyites to represent!

I'll try and get some pics and video up as soon as I can afterwards but it's not till October. Don't hold your breath!

Dave (theking648) went last year too. My parents were in town so I had to miss it. I'm hoping to go out and see it this year.

Fourtycal and I have played around on here at the Virgin location a few times - VERY fun stuff, although I wish I could actually watch the pros do it. I have the original DVD playing in my bikeshop on regular occasions.

I thought seriously about going last year and was disappointed that I didn't swing it. After reading this....

Spectators will be required to stay within designated viewing areas at the base of the course near the finish line - no exceptions.

I am not sure it even sounds appealing..... :ne_nau:

Would like to hear the thoughts of those who have attended.....

How close are the designated viewing areas?

You got to be kidding me?! Stay at the finish line? THAT ain't gonna happen...'course, that would keep racers like Super T Klassen and Darren Barrecloth from running them over but hey, thats half the fun right? :2thumbs:

Err....they're not holding it again this year, are they? Next time they do have one, I recommend attending the practice sessions. Walk where ever you want, and even help dig or carry their bikes up...

Looks like fun. Obviously lots of red rock and I would say it looks like Moab, but where was it done? If it's in the area I would like to go check it out.
