I can no longer right click on the new version of FireFox. I could right click outside of FireFox, but can no longer right click on things while surfing the Web. Any suggestions? Where in "Tools" should I be looking and have checked or unchecked?

This guru says: the new Firefox sucks so much that I switched to Camino.

What do you mean? Can you provide me with a screenshot?

Like disc, would prob have to see a screenshot. But if I had to guess I would say you don't have Javascripting enabled? Go into tools, options, content, and make sure everything is checked.

Can you hit Cntrl T and still open new tabs? I'm curious.

You guys cannot have a screen shot of my porn :roflol: Really nothing to see with the screen shot. Say I was going to quote one of you guys, I would highlight the text, right click and copy it. Now I have to use Control C & V to do it. This is okay, but when I'm trying to grab the properties say from a pic, without the "Right Mouse Click" I cannot get to the properties. This all happened when I upgraded.

Mr. Richard Guru  Would I be able to transfer all of my "Bookmarks" or "Favorites" (for the IE guys)? I'm a PC as well.

Beech, I need the right click...not take it away and that is just too technical for me :roflol:

This is a longshot, but try uninstalling Yahoo toolbar if you have it:

Yes. Firefox's bookmarks menu lets you export your bookmarks in two formats, an html and a json format for Firefox (like if you bought a laptop or something). The html export is universal, and when I went from Firefox to Camino (which is Mac only, by the way), it took a total of about 45 seconds. I have, by the way, used Camino at the office this whole time, and when asked to set someone up on a Mac in the newsroom, I usually download and install Camino for them.

I've seen 3 forums advising to uninstall the Yahoo Toolbar

I do have that Toolbar and the funny thing, I can right click within the confines of that Toolbar and anything else above the web pages. Go figure. Beech, I'll try that link to get rid of the Toolbar....We'll soon see.

Thanks Richard for the info, but no Mac & Cheese here :haha:

Aha! Nice one Beech! So it ended up being a 3rd party app and not Firefox itself.

JP - Congrats on not sticking your "head in the sand" like a Mac user and actually resolving the problem.

I actually prefer Camino over Firefox. I find its interface better integrated with my OS, which is the whole idea behind Camino. Interestingly, despite the fact that it's faster, I don't much care for Safari.

Which is a passive suggestion that if he used Mac products he would never have problems like he just experienced. It's cool dude, we get it. you're trying to convert him. All my other mac cult friends are the same way. OMG WTF LEOPARD RULEZ BALLZ MAHN!
