Storm at Sunset - North Rim 8/23/09

I've just returned from spending four days visiting the North Rim. After our adventure on Saturday afternoon, we decided to watch yesterday's sunset from the veranda. Here are some pictures:

I've never had a camera. This is the first time that I used my husband's camera. I have no idea how to use it, but I'm pleased with the photos. I think I will learn more about the camera now that I'm not so afraid of it. :mrgreen:

We were sitting on the veranda of the Lodge at the North Rim. We took our books, ordered some drinks and sat there for about 4 hours watching the storm travel towards us. The hail pictures were taken from our supper table inside the restaurant.

I highly recommend traveling to the North Rim. But, you have to make your reservations well ahead of time. Lodging is very limited.
