Camping near Lewis Peak?

I wanted to do Lewis Peak this year, and I haven't gone camping enough.

So I want to get myself and my out of shape friends to do this trail, starting from North Ogden pass. Are there any good camping spots on the way?

I'm thinking just a Friday night campover.

...and are campfires allowed?

Yes, there is a spot near the peak. I can't really tell you where it is, but there is a small grove of boxelder trees across the trail from it.

Last time I was up there, it looked as if it hadn't been used nearly as much as times past.
