Hey Lin, thanks for the vote of confidence! I was wondering if anyone ever made any money off of this thing. How do you deal with the pictures thing and rights? Have you been posting all your own pics with your articles?

I've been using mostly my photos. I've posted a couple of train photos that I found on the internet that I was able to contact the photographer and get their permission. I've also been lucky in that the Park Service and Xanterra (concessionaire at the Grand Canyon) both have photos on their web sites of the canyon that I can use as long as I give them credit. The only photo I am not sure if I should have used it or not is one of President Clinton at the Grand Canyon. Other that that I have errored on the side of caution.

I'm not going to be able to quit my day job writing for the examiner but I hope to make enough for a car payment. I think I need the President to visit more often for that to happen though! I made the top five travel examiner list a couple of times this week. I've never even been close before - except when the guy drove his car over the edge in front of a bunch of guests.
