My wife's birthday is Tuesday and I want to take her to do something fun. Anyone have any ideas?

Japanese Steakhouse? Tepanyaki or Bonsai? Mini dinner theatre.

Japanese dinner (downtown) followed by the Comedy Club in WVC.

*OR*, make a romantic surprise dinner at home, send the kids elsewhere (friends, neighbors, family), light a few candles, soft music and serve dinner to her (HER favorite, not yours).

Okay.....

Up North....

Take your pick.....
Fly Fishing on the Logan or Black Smith Fork, golfing Logan River, maybe some mountain biking or hiking in the area.... If she is not into any of the above, send her to a day spa http://kakoisalon.com/ & you go out fishing, golfing, biking....

Then....
Beers and burgers on the deck of the While Owl

Then....
Night at the Anniversary Inn in Logan....

The Salt Lake Valley.....
a day at Snowbird.....or Solitude....
Maybe some lift assisted biking.... Fishing, hiking, disk golf....whatever...

http://www.snowbird.com/

Then if at Solitude, back to SLC to eat dinner, maybe just the patio at Hogs Wallow http://www.thehogwallow.com/ or stay at the Bird & eat.

If you stay at Snowbird to eat....might as well make a night of it.... If you come back into SLC for dinner/drinks.... Might I suggest...
http://www.anniversaryinn.com/stemple.php for your accommodations....

If in Utah Co....
Maybe Sundance for all of the above......

That's nice, but I think DiscGo was looking for something other than his usual date night.

You could pack up a nice dinner up Ensign Peak (which is a short walk), complete with china and have a candlelight dinner with all the city lights below.

For some reason, I have a VERY soft spot for champagne, strawberries and a full moon view from a very high point. Fantasy would be be an overnight under a full moon with champagne, strawberries and dark cholclate!

Early morning flight to Kaanapali Beach, Maui. You'll get there around noon... Walk Lahaina, visiting all the shops & galleries along the beach. Have a romantic dinner right on the beach at sunset. Take the red eye flight back to the mainland & get back in SLC around breakfast. Home in time to get the kids up. :haha: :cool2: ...does the money really matter all that much? :ne_nau:

A day or two in the Teton range has done many some good. Plenty of peaks to hike for all skill level and some killer food in Jackson Hole.
