It's been nice not having spammers join up everyday though. I believe it's been a year and a half when 99% of new members were actual people. :2thumbs:

Most spammers are programs that sign up, post, and never visit the site again. There's a general url to create a post on forums, most of the time the topic replied to isn't even read or opened.

The security question has been changed. Every few months it gets cracked by the bots, and we start to see some seeping through. These latest bots were all from the same source, which won't be named.

If these were actual people logging in and spamming, they would easily be able to answer our simple security question.
