Good hiking places for dogs - Davis County?

I recently bought a house in Syracuse and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good hiking with dogs (preferably off-leash) in the Farmington/Layton +/- areas? My wife used to go with our dogs up Millcreek and Neffs all the time, and we are jonesing for a similar experience up north. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Adams Canyon. It is across the mountain road at the top of Gentile. Across from the water tank. There is a parking lot there.
Hike up to the waterfall. Nice hike.
