View Full Version : Buckskin Gulch Question

Ok.. has anyone who has been down Buckskin gulch tell me if there is anywhere near the halfway point from Wire pass to White House to hand a Hammock? I haven't been down before and need to decide if I will be Hammock camping or just the Bivy on the ground for the night :)

Any help would be appreciated.. Leaving Friday so hopefully I know by then HEHE

as I recall, there's really going to be no good set of trees to set up a hammock. The primary camping spots before the confluence have a few trees, but if I recall correctly, none are going to be close enough together to string a hammock. better plan on camping on the ground.

Perfect that is just what I needed.. Tarp going in the pack now :) Thanks for the info

np. enjoy the trip, it's amazing.
