We were up there on Sat. and the gate was still closed. I called the FS yesterday and they said they opened it yesterday(7-20-09) :2thumbs:

Thanks, we'll be heading up in two weeks. We tried over July 4th there was still some snow and the road was "wet".

Haven't been to that, yet. It's the one below Mud Lake Pass? I'm thinking of hiking into it from Marysvale, in the Fall. Any suggestions?
