Meh.. I think designing human replica's is probably the hardest thing to get right in the artistic world. As humans, were are experts in picking out flaws in composite faces because we see other humans each day and can perceive any small defects. If the names were removed, most people could probably recognize 90% of those. So not as bad as I was expecting it to be.

As an example, here is the latest Death Dealer statue being made out of clay. This guy is argueably one of the best sculpters on the planet and even he doesn't touch faces unless he absolutely has too. Notice the subject matter has a helmet on? Also, think about tattoos, there are very few people in the world who can get a tattoo of a loved one done correctly. but there are millions of people who do pretty much any subject matter and get it right with minimal errors. That's one the things that makes pictures like the Mona lisa and all renaisance stuff so valuable, the lifelike tones and perfectly captured expressions IMO.

The Drew Barrymore one isn't too bad other than the TERRIBLE hair. What's with the hair on the Tom Cruise one too?

Maybe it's just me but I'd have a hard time bringing myself to make a sculpture of another dude's dong.

Great sculptures though, the 2 smaller old ladies were awesome.
