Name this critter (insect)

I found this crawling on my leg this evening. I knocked it to the floor before it cut into me with it's claws. Size is about that of a pencil eraser.

I'm searching but haven't come across anything yet.

By the way, it did squish when I mashed it. Or it mashed when I squished it. Either way. :ne_nau:
