Dry Fork Arch

Anybody know much about the arch along the Dry Fork of the Weber? It's high up on the north side, about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile in from the trailhead. Supposedly it has a spanish engraving somewhere near it from the 1600s.

If you've been there, could you tell me how to find the engraving as well?

If it really is true, then it would make it the oldest inscription in Utah by far. There is no conclusive proof of non-native Americans visiting Utah before the late 1700's, though there is one inscription in Arizona not far south of Navajo Mountain that dates back to 1661, so it is possible that Spanish explorers did wander as far north as Southern Utah (though Weber Canyon is in the north).

It seems strange that one would be found up in Weber Canyon, but if it does exist it would be interesting to find it and post a report on it.
