So I broke my Garmin Edge 305.

I was very bummed. I sent it off to Garmin and was told that they have an $80 flat repair/replace fee which I thought was great. I got a refurbished unit all updated and such in 10 days and it only cost me $40.

Man I am so happy. That is what I call fantastic product support.

Being a surveyor I have been using GPS since the mid 80's and have used all kinds of personal hand helds and I have always favored the Garmin. With this type of service I can say that Garmin will get more of my business.

Garmin does rock, after a bonehead move from me a couple of weeks ago with my edge 305 (I left it sitting on my hood in the garage and drove away) I am now a proud new owner of the bad boy 705, it rocks and it is good to hear that garmin stands behind the product!

That's awesome man. If the flat cost was $80 how did you get off on $40 though?

Hope the ribs are feeling better. I saw your comment about sneezing in the other thread and feel bad for ya. Stay comfortable "medicated" ok?

I'm not sure what happened with the fee? Not going to question it though.

And thanks, the ribs feel considerably better but certain moves and bodily functions can still make me winch and unfortunately no more medicated than the usual. I should have gone to the doc I guess. :ne_nau:
