Hey all just wanted to make sure you know about the UTV Jamboree Aug 13-15 in Marysvale Utah on the Paiute Trail and it is FREE.

You do NOT have to own a UTV to join in on the fun. You only need on for the UTV specific events, there is a ton of stuff going on so bring the big rig.

Marysvale is in Southern Utah near the intersection of I-70 and I-15.

This is a great time of year to ditch the heat at home and join us on the high trails. The snow will be gone and the passes will be open allowing you to ride at 11,000 feet. If you have never ridden the Paiute this is your chance, its really a great place to ride. Absolutely no trailering. After you unload you can ride anywhere on thousands of miles of trail.

Its FREEEEEEEEEEE I'm serious.

We will be broadcasting the event live on the Internet for you poor folks who stay home.

There are a handful of the typical guided rides. See Below.
Subject to change.
We are trying to change it up from the standard guided Jam/Rally.

Expect a vendor fair, the magazines are all sponsoring this so hopefully
some major Manufacturers will be there.

I am working on a timed road rally event now. Should be a blast.
Combines elements of GPS navigation and off-road racing.

We have a GIANT movie screen and will be having a drive-in movie night
as well as some live music.

This is in conjunction with the "Miners Days" celebration. There
will be a ton of stuff for kids to do.

When I was up there last month I stopped in Richfield at the Ranger station and got ATV maps for Fishlake Nat Forest so I could see the 50" wide limited trails.

My feeling is that the Paiute is an ATV trail system and not a UTV trail system. After talking with the folks at the South Forty RV park and another guy I ran into I was glad to see they put together enough rides for 3 days in a UTV over 50" wide.

But I still want an ATV under 50" for up there. I'm considering pulling a flatbed trailer so I can bring both. We will see how things go next month before I decide.

There will be a group of guys with Ridge Runners up there in August for this event.

Well, I can see where access to several thousand miles of trail might be a problem. :roflol:

The "map" is designed to focus you on a very small subset of trails.
Keeps the masses from making life hard on the USFS/BLM.

Marysvale is hardly wanting for UTV trails. Where would you like to ride?
To Moab? No problem. Lake Powell? Ok. Bryce? Zions? St George? How about Vernal? Wendover? Ely? Elko?

Okay, not a problem. There are few places in the country with this much access.

Trust me we will have plenty to ride.
I'll be happy to walk you through some of the fun.

Time for you to write a UTV book? Maybe another trail system just for UTV's.
