I have very limited time this summer to do canyons and i am looking at boundry or Kolob.

Kolob i have heard is a must do but i would need to rent a wet/dry suite from ZAC plus i would need to get a permit. I have yet to do a class C canyon so this would be a big one for me.

Boundry on the other hand need no wet suit and no permit.i have heard really good things about boundry

we will be exiting the MIA either way. The date is set for July 25th weaher permiting

So what do you guys think any thoughts.

Boundary is one of the coldest canyons I have done, so you will need a wetsuit (most likely) through about July 15th, when it stops flowing.

Kolob is a real Class C canyon that requires Class C rope skills at a reasonable level of proficiency. Yes, many incompetent people get through it each year, without those skills. Don't be the NEXT Kolob snuffee.

I had no idea that boundry flowed that long. I looks like it will most likely be august when we get to Zion agian so boundry shouldn't be flowing by then. That it unless it rains then we will have a whole different mess on our hands. Thanks tom.
