My sister is moving to Asheville and doesnt know anyone. She's the outdoorsy type.

Anyone know people there that are cool that might want to show her around and do fun stuff - exchange emails?

Lots of outdoor activities in the Asheville area. The minor league ball team is the Tourists. Lots of folks come to visit including myself once or twice a year. Local mtn biking groups, running groups, kayakers, music festers all have websites and group events posted on those sites.

Don't know where your sister is moving from, but she ought to like living in Western North Carolina.

Thanks for the reply Erial. We've got some good general knowledge about the area, my brother lived there for a while and my uncle and aunt are close... it's awesome there, I'm jealous of her getting to go there! Have you heard of a school called Evergreen? That's where she is going to work - it's an expeditionary learning, Outward Bound school. Awesome.
