OREM -- Orem police are hoping you can help them find a 31-year-old woman who has been missing for a week. She told her family she was going camping and hasn't contacted them since.

Sarah Jensen loves the outdoors, camping and hiking. She's a dedicated mom to her 5-year-old son, and she's missing. "We just want her to call us and let us know she's OK," her father, Larry Jensen, said.

Memorial Day weekend, her family says Sarah was feeling depressed and told her boyfriend she was going camping. When she didn't return by Monday, her family called police.

"It's not like her to completely isolate herself from family and friends when she's down," Larry said.

"We were able to find out that she stayed at a hotel by Zion's National Park, that she bought a Zion's park pass, that she purchased some camping equipment," explained Orem police Sgt. Chris Gaines.

Police say she also withdrew cash, enough for a couple days' living expenses. She took her cell phone but not the charger.

Right now, investigators don't suspect foul play. "More likely an accident

Missing Orem woman found alive and well

A 31-year-old Orem woman reported missing earlier this month has been found alive and well, her family and police say.
Family of Sarah Jensen reported her missing and asked for the public's help finding her after she left Orem in her vehicle on May 25 to go camping in southern Utah. The woman's family and boyfriend didn't hear from her for more than a week after she left, prompting concerns that she'd run into trouble.
Orem police Sgt. Craig Gaines said Tuesday that Jensen has been found alive and in good health.
Police officers in New Mexico contacted Orem police after pulling over Jensen for a traffic violation, Gaines said.
He said the woman apparently "didn't want to be contacted" for awhile and
did not tell her boyfriend or family how long she planned to be gone on a vacation. Jensen told New Mexico police she was traveling through the state "on her own accord," Gaines said.
Jensen's family had feared the worst had happened to her when she disappeared last month. The family had planned a candlelight vigil for their daughter in Orem this week, only to then discover she had been found.
Jensens' mother was able to access her bank records and discovered Jensen used her credit card in Beaver and stayed a night at the Best Western Zion Park Inn in Springdale on May 25. She also learned that Jensen bought a pass for Zion National Park, purchased camping gear and withdrew cash on May 26.
The family had reported it was not out of character for Jensen to disappear for a day or two, but it was unusual for her to take off for a week and not call someone, he said.
