I have been happy with quickbooks from the support side of things but I hear that mint.com is awesome and it is free.

+1 on Quickbooks. I ran a business for several years using MS Money Delux Home & Business and then Quickbooks Pro. I really prefer the functionality and user friendliness found in Quickbooks. :2thumbs:

I use quickbooks. The a/p is great a/r is fair. Payroll is ok. But on the whole for the money you cannot go wrong.

Quickbooks has the most readily available torrents so I would recommend quickbooks.

Hmmm... seems the general consensus is quickbooks. Guess I'll throw down a benjamin for a copy. Any tips for getting my feet wet with quickbooks?

My concern with some off brand (like mint.com) is that no one knows how to run it. With quickbooks if your accountant quits there are a lot of other people you can hire who will step right in and know exactly how it works.

The big learning curve with Quickbooks is setting up the program the way you want. I just hired someone to come in and do it for me. Saved a lot of time and headaches. Once it's all set up it's pretty easy to run.

YMMV
