I like the butterfly picture especially.

I have a friend who has been trying to be a professional photographer for 10 years. He sold his first picture a couple of months ago and it was a random picture he took on his way out of an air show (a quick random picture). You just never know what will sell and why. Good luck to you!

if you have to ask the question, you probably already know the answer...

life in the photo world is pretty tough nowadays. i tried my hand at making a living behind the lens (video and still) and while it can be done, it's not nearly as fun as shooting for yourself, and for the love. it's a lot of work to get your images represented, distributed, sold, collect bills, blah blah blah. museums showing your work is possible, but museums selling your work on consignment? i'd say 1 in a million.

and let's be frank, there are tens of thousands of really talented photographers nowadays. you'll need something special to differentiate yourself... very few people survive solely on their own body of work. most shoot for hire, or as an employee.

now if you just want to sell an image to sell an image, try an online stock agency.

If you want to make money behind th lens you have to shoot weddings and crap.... tough to do it shooting the fun stuff.

I did a few wedding in the early 80's while in college, the money was OK.... but... It sucks... your weekends are ruined because that's when the weddings are. You can't even hit on the bridesmaids and drink at the open bar because you are on the clock. And if you mess up your ass is grass.... it wasn't a fun job.
