Waterfall Canyon 5-16-09

One of my goals this summer is to hike more with the kids. Our first hike was to Waterfall Canyon. We went with my sister, her boyfriend, my cousin and his wife.

It was a perfect day. The waterfall was ICECOLD!!! brrr.

It took us two hours up and back. It is a nice one for short little legs that have a whiney voice attached to them. :lol8: Sarah does ok but she just moves slooooow I think I might get me a cattle prod.

One of these days I am going to take them up over the top of the waterfall. But not until she complains less. Maybe Spenc and I will just go do it. With him I just have to make sure he has plenty of snacks and he is a happy boy.

Nice pics. I've been meaning to make it up there myself. Too bad the trailhead is an hour long drive from here. It requires an earlier start and hence more motivation than the local trails.

I figure on joining some friends who are headed up Adams Canyon in a couple of weeks though. They're a bit slow so I'll be able to pack plenty of beer. :haha:
