Pamela will be leaving "The Desert Rat" in a little less than a month to head up to Montana to guide rivers. I had promised her that we would hike up Lady Mountain, so I figured I'd pick the hottest day of the year so far to "do it"! We're headed up this sunday and if you'd be interested, please join our group! It so far consists of a possible 6-7 of us, but you know how the saying goes?! "The more the merrier!" Plans are shaping up and we anticipate catching the FIRST shuttle upcanyon. Jump on if you will!

Have fun
I'll be down next two weekends. Do you want to get some canyons in? Got a few on my list I plan on ticking off.

Wah Hoo! Time for some payback! You may be dragging me up Lady! Just started my Cross Fit Training and WoW! How muscles atrophy after neglect. Feeling a bit Jellowy today and after tomorrows routine I Imagine I could be the Jello commercial. One day of recupe on Saturday I hope solidifies to a point of being able to stand?! :haha:

Well...today was grand! I found out that Jeff, Andy and party made a very successful, but not without much effort, descent of Right Fork Direct "Hammerhead" and albeit worn but totally content with their efforts! :2thumbs:
We too had a GRAND DAY on the Lady! I wish that Tanya hadn't been tied down, but then sometimes we all must sacrifice!
The following is a short compilation of the few shots I took from today, and I'm sure I'll add to this as soon as the CD's roll in from the other photographers on this particularly beautiful day of hiking.
I will add that a "requisite" dip in the VR at the end sure brought new life to us all on this 94 degree day! Not sure if those aboard got any shots?
Cheers!

Great shots, Bo! Man, I love that hike. Looking forward to doing it again sometime. Hey, theking648, you'd be surprised at how reasonable the hike is. It looks intimidating, and it's a tiring day, but it's not that difficult...

O i'm sure 2000ft in a few miles isn't as bad as it sounds :lol8: but being one slip away from falling off the cliff is what gets me.
