Hey folks: I grew up in Utah(SLC up in the avenues) a loooong time ago(60's). I will be returning this week for a 10 day trip. I want to thank you for this website. I was going to ask a lot of questions but was able to find most of the information through searches.
I am an long time outdoors man. I hike, climb, kayak, ski (BC and DH), mnt and road bike. I also brew some damn fine beer. On my trip I plan to hike, camp and start exploring some easy slot canyons. Hopefully this will lead to more extreme adventures in the future and lots of questions. I will becoming to Utah my wife. She loves the outdoors but is not as adventurous as I am. We hope to explore Zion, Escalante, Bryce and Moab areas. Thanks Charlie
PS My screen name was suppose to be balto charlie but somehow the O got lost. I am currently living in Baltimore, MD but always missing the west.

Everyone thanks for the welcome.

Sombeech, That's OK I'll keep balt

Don: Sorry but airlines would not allow a 12 oz bottle let alone a 5 gallon keg onto the plane. Polygamy Porter, here I come
