I've got tomorrow off as a comp day from work and was trying to think of somethign fun to do with the family. Family consists of me, wife, 7 month old and 2.95 year old (turns 3 next month)

I was thinking of going to Bryce Canyon and camping out there and then going around and seeing the sites. I've not been to Bryce and since (as far as I know) it doesnt have any good technical slots, I wont feel bad not doing them.

Are there short hikes or fun things for a 3 year old to do?

I was thinking this weekend would be good to go because the crowds wont be very big.

I could do Zion, but I can't think of anything that would be fun for a 3 year old to do there. (Oooh, a rock that leaks water!. Let me go over and try to run off another cliff, daddy!)... Although he DOES like busses so maybe he'd just be happy riding on the shuttle all day long.

I've thought about Goblin Valley as another alternative.

The 7 month old is just along for the ride, but she also means we can't do anything that involves us walking for too long since my wife will likely be carrying her.

Any of those ideas are great. My kids loved weeping rock. But the thing they loved the most was riding the buses.
