This is not a canyoneering post, if one of the moderators can think of a better place please move, but this forum has probably the most outdoor traffic so maybe some one will be able to help me out. I have checked with a bunch of my contacts in moab and no one has a clue.
Does anybody know when or who has built the big house out in crips hole 4 arches area of moab? It may be a dude ranch. This area is west of gemini bridges. There also has popped up out there some sort of a outback camp for wayward kids? They have a small trading post store. Not a soul was around at either the house or the trading post.
This house is amazing big horse corrals etc. Fortunately for them the power lines for dead horse point run through this canyon so they can get power.
When riding in there on friday I could not figure out who had improved the old dirt road, come around the corner and here is this unbelievable house. Anybody got any clue? :ne_nau: I wish I had taken my camera along but I was in a hurry and had forgotten it.
