Long time ago I descended a canyon to get to the anchors of an old, old climb. I had done 1 and 1 half pitches of the existing climb many years ago. The last half pitch eluded me. Anyhow...I went thru the canyon with the State Park Management yesterday, and I hope it totally thrilled her so that it may become an existing legal route in the future?! It was a fun thought provoking experience. So much to see....petroglyphs, arches, bridges, caves, exposure, downclimbing, squeezes, water and all the fun stuff that keeps one motivated! The descent will enter into the list of HCP to=do's and hopefully will pass the requisites for future descents with the grace of the state, and feds?

Thanks Bo :hail2thechief: :hail2thechief: :hail2thechief:

For getting Goose Creek back for the canyoneering comunity. :naughty:

Because you got Goose Creek back as an open canyon, next time we do a canyon I'll carry YOUR pack like how you carry Tanya's, and you won't even have to kiss me afterward.

Now could you work on getting Abraham back

 :five: :2thumbs:

So are there still worries with the Owls in there?

I did a canyon a few years back with one of the NPS Owl experts..... he told me that canyoneers causing any problem for the owls was complete bullshit and that he had told his superiors just that..... of course the federal machine being what it is they totally ignored the information provided by their own expert.

The part I found most interesting was when he said that the owls would not set up home in Pinecreek, Orderville, yada, yada if canyoneers bothered them
