If anyone uses Trillian, you'd be happy to know that beta is out.

http://www.trillian.im/signup.html

Just sign up and you should get an email with a download link within minutes.

So far I like Astra quite a bit, has a nice plugin for Facebook and bunch of other IM services.

PS: Please don't start the flame war on which client is better. This is just an FYI for those who use tril

Trillian sucks...I prefer to run aim, yahoo, IRC, and MSN all at the same time.

I have been using Digsby and I don't really like it. I'll be trying Trillian now. Thanks for the heads up.

I tried Trillian years ago and it was pathetic how horribly it functioned. I'm with you on this one Summit. I'd rather be running all of them at once than Trillian by itself.

I was kidding.
Trillian with the Microscopic skin is one of the best things to ever happen to me. I run it on all three of my machines.... love it.

I'm a Digsby fan.

I can check 20 different email accounts at once without signing into them, multiple Facebook accounts, and multiple Twitter accounts.

It even has an embeddable html widget for a website or blog so people can chat with you right there without opening up an IM client, so if they're at a computer lab somewhere that blocks IM client downloads.

I've been a Trillian user for years and quite enjoy it. It was fun for a period there while Yahoo and MSN kept changing their security codecs and Trillian kept breaking them.

Justin, stfu, this is a trillian rocks thread. So just stfu!

Summit, with that post, I love you unconditionally now! Tril with microscopic is totally awesome.

That's the reason I posted this thread about Astra, I was able to actually find a skin that mimics microscopic and looks very similar to it.

The skin is called Inspirat Astra

Yeah, Meebo is cool, nothing to download. Some employers block it though.
