I need a couple more people for a CCP class I'm hosting in Lehi. Anyone want to get theirs? The course is $30, includes fingerprints. We're trying for March the 27th (a friday).

I've had mine for 10+ years, but it wouldn't hurt to get the wife "legal".

How long is the course?

The state requirement is 4 hours. We're going to do it from 6-10 PM

does the class also include pictures and the notary? If so that's a hell of a deal.

No Picture or Notary. Picture from Costco is $5. Notary you can get for free at your credit union. It does include fingerprints. Most the places I've looked into it's about $50 for what you get. By the way, it's STG that is doing the course.

I was about to commit to coming because I am interested but (and this will sound really geeky) I organized a LAN party at work for that same time. Sorry I can't make it.

When I took mine I paid $50, picture & prints were included, so $30 is a great price. If you are in the area you should take the class everybody should have a permit. (Although you should not have to have one to carry a gun) :2thumbs:

I've seen it advertised here for $200. Yes, a Utah CCW. I'm planning on doing it when it shows up again.

My wife will be attending well be attending if we can get a babysitter. Otherwise it will just be me. I just need to know where in Lehi. Because that's a sweet deal.

Thanks for hosting, Jumar. Got mine filed yesterday and they said it's running about 60 days out. I was hoping to have it prior to the next gun show, but I'm just glad to be getting it.

It sucks now that the wait is ~100 days from when you send in your paperwork even though state law is 60 days.

It's crazy. Later yesterday after the post, I went to my PO Box and BAM! There's my permit. :2thumbs:

It's nice to have your permit. Sucks that they are WAY beyond the STATE LAW that says the must have them issued within 60 days. CONGRATS :2thumbs:
