Moab BLM has posted detailed travel maps indicating trail types by color.
http://www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/fo/moab/recreation/motorized_routes/copy.html
Now you might look at this and wonder "how do I know that the trail I am about to enter is ATV only?" when it looks like my Jeep will fit.
Well I can assure you that the BLM has NOT been busy putting up signage.
So I recommend you get OziExplorer and convert these maps to BMP and "Load an Calibrate" them.
I did it, its not hard BUT I WARN YOU the BLM is not the greatest map making agency and clearly some of their track collecting was off. For the most part Ozi Explorer will help you make quick work of digesting what is legal and what is not by marking a few new waypoints in your GPS.
