Black Diamond's annual gear sale and swap is this weekend.
The sale is Fri-Sun, but the gear swap is only Saturday morning from 8 to Noon.
Black Diamond Store
2092 E 3900 S, SLC

Anyone else planning to be there? If the weather holds maybe a hike or climb afterward?

I heard you guys talking about this at lunch. I'd love to hit this sale, but I'm taking my boy scouts camping this weekend.

Anyone planning to attend the Gear Swap or is it just me? Anyone want to meet for breakfast before the swap or lunch after? I was thinking about hitting the Blue Plate (2041 S 2100 E Salt Lake City, UT 84108) at 7:am for breakfast...
If no one is interested in an early morning we could get some Thai or Sushi or something for lunch...
Or maybe go climb or hike after the swap and have dinner out?
(Cody, Brad, Josh, I'm calling you out and expecting a response on this...)

If you can hold out for climbing until the afternoon, I'd love to. I'll be at Westminster until 17:30 though. I might swing by the gear sale at lunch Friday (11:00-12:00)_

This is very tempting!

Curious what kinda of gear will they have?

You name it. Anyone with shit to sell is welcome. It's a gear hound yard sale!

I don't want shit.... that just stinks!

I might be able to make it. Not for breakfast. This will be my last Saturday to sleep in. Soccer starts the following Saturday. I will let you know Friday.

I need 3 sleeping bags, 3 daypacks... maybe some of those fancy hiking poles. The kids are always dragging a broom stick handle with them. :lol8: Consequently I have no broom.

I could use some hiking poles too. How long does it last? I gotta work Saturday.
