Hotel California

A few of us rode the Orocopia Mountains east of the Salton Sea last weekend blazing some trails. We had my Ridge Runner, an RZR, 2 Rangers, a Rhino, and a stock Jeep. They say a Jeep can go anywhere and now I agree. :nod:

How do you like the Ridgerunner?
I heard they went out of business is that true?
If so its too bad, they make great rigs.

You should come to Moab for the UTV rally. Lots of Ridgerunners there last year. UTVRally.com for details, May 13-16.

I like it. It rides well but I would buy an RZR now. Just was no RZR when I bought. They went out of biz in January.

I'll be in Moab in May and Marysvale in August this year. A group of us will be at both. I'm also bringing some others from Planet sidexside with buggies in August. I've gotten several people that want to go. I talked with the piute county guy and he has me on the list for trail guides. You should join us in August. Should be a lot of fun. :2thumbs:

A couple will stay at Winkelmans and some at Lizzie and Charlies.

I had not heard of the Parker ride. We are doing an Easter ride at the same place we were last weekend. This time it will be for the kids and wive's. :nod: Easter ends the riding down here. Too hot!

We (actually a guy from Tucson) are planning a ride in No Arizona maybe in July otherwise it's Utah this summer. :2thumbs:

Then cabin fever till October and it cools down in the desert.

SideXSide Action Magazine is organizing it.
Just got an email and they are expecting up to 1000 attendees.

I think thats way optimistic, maybe 300 for a first time event.

Take some pics and post if you go. Next time (in the fall) we want to do the AZ side. I didn't see where they were going to ride.

Looks to me like the plan to have some of it at that bar at the old mine up in the hills SE of parker. The had a picture of the bar. Been there once.
Band was great. Beer was cold. Food was okay.

You can ride all the way to Quartzite no problem from there and then go west of Parker and North too.

Its a maze of riding trails around Parker.
