Is that land public???

I came across this today and can't wait to make use of it. I've been rather hesitant to go rabbit hunting on public lands for no other reason than I don't know what lands are public (outside of the national forests).

What I've been doing is using the road map overlay and checking the Range Allotments box to show where the BLM land is. Then I find a spot, switch to the topo overlay to make sure it's the terrain I want. After that, I switch to the aerial overlay and look for vegetation and such.

Once I've found a spot that interests me, I switch back to the road map overlay and cross reference it with google maps to get direction on getting there.
