you left out an option....

I love my job and I am not worried about a layoff. I most likely will not see a raise for then next 7 years and I don't make squat compared to what I could but what I give up monetarily is worth it for this job. I am worried for many of my friends and their husbands.

I love my job and so far I have not had any reason to worry.

I love my job and am only slightly worried about having to lay people off. I can probably always keep myself busy though.

Jobs are lame!! Polls about jobs are even more lame.

I am always worried about loosing my job but it has almost nothing to do with the economy.

I have to poo.

I can't say I love my job but it's OK and I have a pretty good working relationship with my supervising engineer and manager. I don't mind a little tedium but it had better not involve parking my posterior in a chair for a week at a time so I don't get those kinds of assignments. I get the weird stuff that requires a lot of electromechanical improvisation.

As far as layoffs go, we've had a 20% and I would likely be safe through another. When the third came around, my versatility and my never calling in sick might get me through that too. On the hand, I'm on a sure enough financial footing that I'm not afraid of it. Between unemployment, self employment, finding a roommate, and going car free, it would be a very, very long time before my home was put in jeopardy.

I can't vote. My wife and I work for ourselves so no one can lay us off. However if our renters get laid off thats another story. So we fit somewhere in there. :ne_nau:
