An odd trip on a trail which has partially no traces on slickrock:

Entrada Gap

Located some twenty Miles south of Green River (and 2 Miles south of the San Rafael River crossing) east of the road towards Horseshoe Canyon, this trail might not be easy to follow.

In places the desert is "paved" with chert

No traces! The intersection between white-grey Navajo and red Entrada may be used as a guideline

Nice little canyon into the Entrada Bluffs. No road! No escape!

Nice pics! Did you just stumble onto this trail or was it in a book you've got?

To be honest, there was a note in one of these older Bickers booklets "The Labyrinth Rims" as an addition to the trail to Bull Botton. Printed in 1989. I`ve never seen another reference.

The description was a bit misleading or we didn`t understand it right? But we managed to find our way around the Entrada bluffs and back to the Green River road via Trin Alcove Overlook Trail. Doing it the other way round might be easier.

A nice and interesting place to be - except for the oncoming sand staorm!
