It's the 200th birthday of both Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin.

I know I'm a geek. I'm not a complete history geek, too much of SciFi still holds my attention. But tomorrow I'll thumb through my copy of On the Origin of Species and I'll re-read the Gettysburg Address or maybe the second inauguration speech (probably both), for now I'll have a shot for each of them and then I'm off to bed...
