I hope this isn't a repost. If so, I apologize.

Not sure I would hike here in the best of conditions:

Yep, it's a repost but it is still just as scary. I would consider that hike to be the third least family-friendly hike anywhere. What are my top two? (1) Everest and (2) Hiking to the Cracks of Doom in the middle of Mordor.

There's a safety wire. As long as I can clip in I would love to check that out. :2thumbs:

It's a Via Ferrata. Appently there is couple of other routes, plus good rock climbing, and good cayoning in the surounding area.

would love to check it out

Totally Awesome! What an incredible amount of work went into creating this trail!? Looks as though maintenence has slacked a bit, but it looks like a great trail. The person shooting the video had some cahones! Looked as though he never clipped in and did some balancy moves? I wonder what the intent of the trail was? Here is a picture of one of the several Via Ferattas and Climbs I had the opportunity to experience on a trip to Italy 5 years ago. These "Iron Trails" were made for a specific purpose; during world war 2. What nerve and fortitude men had!

Did you read this link

Also there is a flash game inspired by this hike. If anyone needs help let me know and I'll pass along my knowledge.

Yeah I've wanted to try some Via Feratta. Was thinking about doing the one here in Utah. Would love to go to Europe and do some there, plus some canyoning.
