Bogley Karaoke night.

Bogleyoke was coined by somebody at the Sushi night, I can't remember if it was Don, Mtn_Trash, or adamsco. It came from that rowdy bunch.

Let's try to pick a weeknight, it seems there are more Karaoke nights during the week than on weekends.

If I could just get some shit straight and on track in my life, Id love to make an apperance at a bogley night event.
From reading Id say there are several people among the masses here that I could get along with and many Id like to know and hang out with in person.
I will not however make a karaoke night appearance.
First off, Id just get drunk and sing, Iv had my ass beat more times than I can count, why add one more to that list? Either Im gonna sing, an I already know I can not sing, or I am going to start picking on someone else that can not sing, but thinks they can...Best to skip this event type.

Karaoke is a blast! Especially at a real bar.

What could be a better motivator for people with little vocal skill to get in front of a large group of people and squawk to their heart's content than alcohol?

It's been years for me (don't do bars anymore), but my personal favorites were "No Rain" by Blind Melon and "At a Medium Pace" by Adam Sandler.

im down for getting drunk and making an ass of myself. huka bar in slc does it on monday nights and the big easy in lehi does it on thursday. does anyone else know of a good place that does it aswell, also the food at huka is great.

Atchafalaya has a separate room for karaoke (or they used to 3 years ago).

I've never been, but I hear the Big Easy (same owner as Atch) is a total dive.

The Big Easy is nicknamed The Big Sleazy or The Big and Easy

Atchafalaya is nicknamed itchy-vagina


I gotta admit, I like the Easy; it's close to home and the bartender knows my drink... Of course I just go for a few beers and pool; not a good place to meet women. :nono: :haha:

You're welcome to crash here, but it's a small place so I can't host everyone so the Easy might be a bit far for you and others. Seems like SLC is middle ground; anyone know a decent Karaoke bar in the big valley?

I'm reviving this thread because I'm in the finals for a karaoke contest this week. I'll be singing Sinatra at the Big Easy in Lehi Thursday night. It's audience choice for the winner so come out and cheer for me! And after the competition you can show your own karaoke skill...

Hooters on 72nd and State has karaoke every Tuesday night. We found this out after dropping by after our bike ride.
