At Your Leisure (TV show) had a segment on snowbikes (http://www.atyourleisure.info/episodes.asp?season=7&episode=20&category=4). Basically you can convert a dirt bike into a snow bike with a ski up front and a track on the back. The Radix conversion kit is made by 2Moto (http://www.2moto.com/) in Idaho. Obsession Moto Worx (http://www.obsessionmoto.com/) in Pleasant Grove is one shop that sells the kit and will do the full conversion.

Watch these videos of the snowbike in action (http://www.2moto.com/Ride_2Moto/Videos/2Moto_DVD/Part_1/)

From the videos I was surprised at how well the bikes cornered in the snow and how well they climbed.

I have really considered putting one on my WR450f, but for 4,000 dollars, why not buy a NICE used sled? Blows my mind that people actually pay 4 grand for them. :crazycobasa:

I would love to try one. Anybody know where you can rent one? :ne_nau:

Obsession motoworks out of PG has demo days where they take them out and let you flog them. Give them a ring and ask them when and where there next demo day is.

Reedus - thanks for the info on price, etc. I was guessing $3,000.

Those look pretty sweet, and would be fun to keep it on two wheels during the winter. I watched the special on KSL when they showed it, cool design.
