Wing Nut :haha: Her smoke and mirror tactic didn't stay on track too long :haha: See, a fan and a hammer will expose things :haha: It's funny how she stated things like criminals shouldn't have guns, guns should be registered, etc. Well, this is how our laws play out now. She nailed it on the head until she got to the number of guns and assault weapons. :haha: That was 2006 and it obviously failed, who knows what will happen now with a government that is dead set on making other countries happy with us, that's the scary part. Some of our freedoms and liberties might be taken away for the appeasement of others....I could only hope not.

Yeah that is one great debate. I use the term loosely. I only watched the first two clips. Homeboy should stick to the topic and not deflect every point to some vast global conspiracy theory on how the UN is going to take all guns away. http://www.bogley.com/forum/files/jerkit.gif

Can anyone confirm this? I have heard that Australia's crime rate has gone up significantly since their gun bans have gone through.

Ummm, that basically what that debate is about :haha:

I have heard that Australia's crime rate has gone up significantly since their gun bans have gone through.
Now that's a shocker :haha: Talking to her, she'll never admit that :haha:

Most likely. It's strange though, how criminals don't mail their guns in when they become illegal. Maybe the stamp costs too much.

Along the same mentality, there should be mass shootings that break out at every NRA convention, because of all the guns in the room.

http://www.snopes.com/crime/statistics/ausguns.asp

Snopes says that they updated last in 2007. But do not put up any stats past 2000. So who really knows. Then another question is, who is running snopes and what are they trying to hide by not putting up current stats?

But I think that the NRA hit the nail on the head by saying that no treaties with other nations take precidence over the constitution. Enough said.

As far as president elect Obama, I read an article before his election, and he said that he does not have time to deal with gun controll. It is not even on his agenda. He has to many other things to address to worry about gun controll. Hope that he sticks to his word.

I always wondered that myself, soooooo many people in here rely on Snopes as the law in truth :haha:

.

I wonder about that too. I know good, intelligent people that swear by Snopes. If Snopes told them the world was actually flat, they would believe it.

Keeping my fingers crossed
Unfortunately that is not going to help the onslaught that is just over the horizon  He, on more than one occasion, has used the term "Interrupt" when speaking about the Constitution.
