Anyone try this? Is it only viewable from your computer or is the quality good enough to transfer to a big screen? Is there a decent channel selection?

Getting tired of paying DishNetwork, looking for options.

Which application are you talking about?

My wife and I watch streaming episodes all the time from ABC and NBC. We actually watched all 4 seasons of LOST in about a month. We'll do the same thing with the other series that we don't have time to watch every week.

I'm assuming though you're talking about live TV. I haven't tried it, but I would probably prefer to watch the shows on my preferred schedule.

Maybe you're also talking about a TV card in the PC?

Nah, you can watch it on your regular TV and the quality is great.
You can get Blu-Ray quality downloaded and play it on your Hi-Def TV.
Checkout some of the options NetFlix has.

You can use your existing Tivo or box360. BTW Netflix has movies and TV episodes.

I like the Roku for $99. Saw it at my brothers over Christmas.
Works great.

Going to disconnect my DirecTV this month and go with the Roku because it will have access to Amazons new library as well as Netfix.

I was thinking LIVE tv.

A dish/direct tv replacement.

Am I a few years to early and only dreaming?

The beauty of tivo, dvr, etc is that you can watch it whenever you want. Screw the TV schedule.

I'm not sure i like the Apple.tv thing.

You pay at least $1.99 per TV episode and $4 for a movie.

At $20 month Netflix looks like a better deal.
