After 5 years of heavy use and abuse my Kelty Backcountry Child carrier took the digger. No idea how it happened, I just got it out to go hike and notice the bar broke along the weld. I can not even begin to count how many days of use this thing has had. I am honestly shocked to see that it lasted this long I sent it in for warranty repair .... lets see what happens.

No idea at all :ne_nau: Just picked it up and it was broken. If Kelty does not replace it I am sure I can fix it.

Its a camelbak unbottle, the same one I use in my hiking and backpacking bags. One of best purchases I have ever made :2thumbs:

Summit I used to have the same pack, I sold it to Justin.

Did you purchase it at REI? You could have taken back there

I believe Kelty has a lifetime warranty. The fabric ripped on my bag once. Kelty completely replaced it with a brand new pack.

Love my Keltys. We loved the Pathfinder so much that when we needed a second one I bought the Adventurer.

Let us know what they end up doing for you.

Kelty paid for shipping both ways and replaced the old back with a FC 3.0 their top of the line child carrier. The entire process took just over a week. The new pack has improved padding/straps , more storage space, rear view mirror, changing pad, sun/rain fly, and an internal koozie.

Thanks to Kelty for backing up their products.

Wow. Props to Kelty. You don't see companies standing behind their products very often these days.
