I'm back - a few days earlier than I planned, but I had something come up with work and needed to cut the trip short. I left 70 degree temps behind!!! :becca:
Sugar Bowl......what can I say??!! I couldn't have scripted anything better than that game! The crowd? Fist-fighting, drink throwing and hairpulling -and that was just in the ladies' room!!! :lol8: j/k My sister and I started out in a suite that we were invited to , but it was an all Alabama group except us. We weren't allowed to take photos inside the suite (I think it's because there were a lot of men there with women that didn't exactly look like they could be their wives) :eek2: It was getting really ugly in the first quarter (wonder why) and we couldn't really enjoy ourselves (gloat) :haha: in the manner that we wanted. During the second quarter, my niece, who was sitting with some of her Utah friends that had driven down for the game, sent me a text and told me there were a couple of empty seats by their group. So.....drinks in hand, we went down to where they were sitting and had a MUCH better time! :2thumbs:
It's late and I've got to be up early, but will post a bunch of photos as soon as I get caught up and go through them all. Between my niece and I, we took over 200 photos. Her camera is much better than what I had, so I will post the best between us.
My sister's neighbor and her husband rode with us to the game (they are Alabama alumni) and I was really dreading having to drive home with them. But they were really good sports and even went out with us to celebrate after the game - Crimson Tide t-shirts and all! :five:
