I lost all the weight I wanted to so this year I have decided my resolution will be to "Not Suck at Life". I figure thats a pretty easy one.

Time to get serious about decreasing debt again. School loans suck.... they become the family pet. But that is all I have left besides the car.

Resist the temptation to turn the TV back on... been 6 months.

Before I go to bed each night pick up the house real quick. (I know this sounds weird but being the only parent and two kids and working full-time and two part time jobs the house is wreck at the end of the week.)

Only eat out as a family once a month. I have got to cook!!!!!

Lose 35 lbs

I would be a LOT more impressed if the "(to me)" weren't in there. Come on, Dan. Go big, and make a goal to discover two new continents :)

Seriously, it takes about 5 minutes every night to just make the "swoop" of the house and put things back where they go. I know it's always right before we go to bed in our house, but it's so nice to wake up in the morning with things relatively put back together. I make the kids help out too.

Regarding eating out + 35 lbs + debt......they all go hand in hand. And I feel your pain here. Working mom's with kids in activities, etc....make it really hard to do the whole COOK AT HOME and EAT. We suffer this syndrome as well and I'm married! It's so much easier, less mess, more convenient to eat out.....but drains the bank account and packs on the lbs. GOOD LUCK! I know you can do it. :2thumbs:

First thing I'm going to do this year is snort a line of coke off a strippers ass....

Then I'm going to.......

Put on an extra 10 pounds.
Spend less time with the kids.
Spend more time watching TV.
Drink more beer.

- Fully integrate my intelligent email routing library so I don't have to write CRM applications with limited VOIP capabilities.

- Cisco certification, with huge raise hopefully.

- Get out of working in Wisconsin during the week, too cold here. Or at least stay home 1 week/mo.

- Grow 5 different veggies hydroponically, last year had way to much lettuce.

- Potty train my 2 1/2 year old, he's a stubborn bastage (like his dad).

- Learn how use cast RTV silicone molds and misc resins.

Ya know, I think Shane has something there... Those are the things I will do this year despite my resolutions. Maybe I should use a reverse psychology thing on my resolution list.

deathcricket, I don't understand half of your list...

Snort Crack from a Crack?

Dude... you got a lot to learn.... crack is a getho thing.... To obtain cocaine you need to find a place where young, money hungry, business type people hang out.

Here this little guide will help you out.....

How to snort coke off a stripper's ass!

I think you should visit Asia (preferably China, or India would be cool too), and Africa.

I'll be in Asia by Saturday. Going to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam though, with a stop in Tokyo on the way back. :2thumbs:

But the second continent will be... South America. And probably not until next fall.

CCVP Nice! I got my CCNA a few years ago after I graduated but I haven't got back into anymore Cisco certs since. Right now I am on the MCSA/MCSE track but I don't find myself extremely motivated...

Good Luck man! :2thumbs:
