Guess I forgot to post up some pictures from our little trip to Arches and Canyonlands Island in the Sky district the weekend after Xmas here. It's not any difficult hiking, but I like checking out the more popular tourist destinations in the winter when there are a lot less people around. Plus. I really like the snow in the photos :)

Beautiful photos! This has completely intrigued me and now I think I may need to check out Moab in the Winter. I've only been in Spring and Fall. You guys in GJ are so close that it's an easy drive. I am over in Glenwood so it tacks on an extra hour but oh so worth it! Once again.......sweet pics! :2thumbs:

We made a trip out there last February and it was awesome. Everywhere we went we were pretty much alone, it was a great change of pace form the normal moab mobs. So nice in fact that we have already made plans for a winter trip down this year.

Your photos turned out great. What are you doing for your post processing?

A number of the photos are HDR that I ran through Photomatix, but other than the HDR shots, I didn't do anything
