I'm glad to see no one here had to develop enough of a relationship with a cardiologist to be able to recommend him or her, heh. But why so many views and no responses? :roflol:

I clicked expecting to read about WHY you needed a cardiologist in the first place.
I've had several people recommend Dr. Iskos in Ogden. My own mother went to him.
You can also read about ratings on other cardiologists here:

I'd gladly recommend one to ya, but he's way over here :haha:
Hope everything is okay with ya

You expected gory details? :haha: I think everyone expected to see what was wrong, heh.
Nevertheless thanks for the info shlingdawg :2thumbs:
JP, thanks. Nothing. It's just that since my dad passed away due to unexpected heart failure I've been a bit concerned. Had a physical done, including an EKG and there's nothing wrong with me. But my sister went a step further and went to see a cardiologist and she's fine too but the doc told her that I should see one just in case. Basically I don't want to get a heart attack and be like WTF?! They said I was healthy! hheh.
Yea, problem came out of nowhere. Of course I was pushing the envelope and thinking what I had was bronchitis and it would just go away :haha: Congestive heart failure just doesn't go away, you end up going away :lol8: All the precursors for my condition, I didn't have. They chalked it up to a virus that entered my body, attacked my heart and left. A cardiologist checked me out pretty good as did other specialists. I had biopsies of my heart, they entered a few of my arteries and went right into my heart...no cholesterol problems at all. Plaque free :haha: EKG's, MRI's, X-Rays, you name it...I had it. :haha:
I would check out some cardiologists On-line that are near ya and see if you can find any that seem reputable. You can always make an appointment with your Sister's Doc and fly back here for the checkup. Who knows, her Cardiologist just may know someone out there in Utah. My Cardio Doc has a buddy in Florida he gave me the name of...you just never know  I'll ask him when I see him on the 9th if he knows anyone out in Utah.

Thanks JP. I have an appointment on Monday. If I'm not happy with the visit I might do another one. I just don't want to be f-ing surprised :haha:
Surprised is thinking it's bronchitis and it's not :haha:
Yea, I hear ya...you always want to have that clean bill of health  Good luck with that appointment :2thumbs:

Perhaps I'm not seeing your avatar clearly, but assuming that's some sort of cheroot in your mouth, I'd discard it and not put another one in for as long as you live and you'll surely live longer for it; statistically speaking, that is.

I'm not paying you :haha: I quit smoking in February, that's after 14 months of smoking, that's after 5 years of not smoking, that's after 5 years of active smoking :roflol:

How's it going?
I've had two procedures done at the University of Utah on my heart - am very impressed with their cardiologists and care. Whoever you see will totally depend on what the "issue" is, I've had two ablations and an implant in the atrial septum.
