I have been dreaming about a new deer hunting rifle for a few years now. I knew I wanted a Remington Model seven but I have been studying calibers for some time with no real favorite. Remington made up my mind when they released a 25th anniversary addition of the Model seven chambered in 7MM08. :slobber:
Then I went looking at scopes and decided on the Leupold VX-L, it has a cut out under the front objective so it can be mounted closer to the gun, 50mm objective that mounts as low as a 40mm. I built a hundred rounds with nossler ballistic tips that will fly at nearly 3000fps, can hardly wait to shoot it, maybe this weekend :rifle: :cool2:
